How to Set Up Comparison Table in Lavar

Help buyers make confident purchasing decisions by clearly comparing product features, specifications, or pricing in an easy-to-read table. The Comparison Table allows customers to quickly evaluate differences between options, making it easier for them to choose the product that best fits their needs.

How to Set It Up

Step 1: Enable Lavar in Your Theme

Make sure the Lavar app embed is enabled in your Theme Editor first.

Step 2: Add Comparison Table Widget on Product page

Open Lavar in your Shopify Admin.
Navigate to Store Optimizations → Comparison Table
Click Add Widget.

You will be directed to the Theme Editor page. Then you can move the Comparison Table to the position you want and click Save:

After setup, return to the app and click Verify Now to confirm the app block was added correctly. Then you can Activate the feature to see it on the storefront.

Step 3: Configure the Comparison Table Settings & Content

In the Settings section:

Add items as columns for the Comparison Table.
Set up the table by adding comparison points (such as features, benefits, or specifications).
Next, enter the content displayed with the table: Heading, Description.

Step 4: Customize Comparison Table Content & Appearance

In the Appearance section, you can apply colors to match store design.
