How to Set Up Favicon Cart Count in Lavar

The Favicon Cart Count feature displays the number of items in a customer’s cart directly on the browser tab icon.

This helps keep customers aware of their selected items even when switching tabs, encouraging them to return and complete their purchase.

How to Set It Up

Step 1: Enable Lavar in Your Theme

Make sure the Lavar app embed is enabled in your Theme Editor first.

Step 2: Activate the feature Favicon Cart Count

1. Open Lavar in your Shopify Admin

2. Navigate to Store Optimizations → Favicon Cart Count

3. Click Activate feature and Save

Step 3: Configure the Favicon Cart Count Settings
